Ecclesiastes 10:12-14
International Children’s Bible
12 A wise man’s words bring him praise.
But a foolish person’s words will destroy him.
13 A foolish person begins by saying something foolish.
In the end he is saying even crazier things.
14 A foolish person talks too much about what he will do.
No one knows the future.
No one can tell him what will happen after he dies.

12 Words from the mouth of the wise are gracious,(A)
but fools are consumed by their own lips.(B)
13 At the beginning their words are folly;
at the end they are wicked madness—
14 and fools multiply words.(C)
No one knows what is coming—
who can tell someone else what will happen after them?(D)
