23 (A)As long as you live, everything you do brings nothing but worry and heartache. Even at night your mind can't rest. It is all useless.
24 (B)The best thing we can do is eat and drink and enjoy what we have earned. And yet, I realized that even this comes from God. 25 How else could you have anything to eat or enjoy yourself at all?

23 All their days their work is grief and pain;(A) even at night their minds do not rest.(B) This too is meaningless.
24 A person can do nothing better than to eat and drink(C) and find satisfaction in their own toil.(D) This too, I see, is from the hand of God,(E) 25 for without him, who can eat or find enjoyment?(F)
