5 I had flower gardens and orchards full of fruit trees. 6 And I had pools where I could get water for the trees. 7 (A) I owned slaves, and their sons and daughters became my slaves. I had more sheep and goats than anyone who had ever lived in Jerusalem.

5 I made gardens and parks and planted all kinds of fruit trees in them. 6 I made reservoirs to water groves of flourishing trees. 7 I bought male and female slaves and had other slaves(A) who were born in my house. I also owned more herds and flocks than anyone in Jerusalem before me.
