¹⁰ Whatever one is, he has been named ^(A)already,
For it is known that he is man;
^(B)And he cannot contend with Him who is mightier than he.

Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth!
^(B)Shall the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’
Or shall your handiwork say, ‘He has no hands’?

¹⁹ “Behold,^(A) he shall come up like a lion from ^(B)the ^[a]floodplain of the Jordan
Against the dwelling place of the strong;
But I will suddenly make him run away from her.
And who is a chosen man that I may appoint over her?
For ^(C)who is like Me?
Who will arraign Me?
And ^(D)who is that shepherd
Who will withstand Me?”
