Ekyoto ku Lusozi Ebali
27 Awo Musa ng’ali n’abakulu abakulembeze ba Isirayiri n’alagira abantu nti, “Ebiragiro byonna bye mbategeeza leero mubikuumenga. 2 (A)Bwe mumalanga okusomoka omugga Yoludaani n’oyingira mu nsi Mukama Katonda wo gy’akuwa, oddiranga amayinja amanene n’ogategeka n’ogakubako omuyiko ogw’ennoni ng’etabuddwamu omusenyu. 3 (B)Ogawandiikangako ebigambo bino byonna eby’amateeka, ng’omaze okusomoka, ng’oyingidde mu nsi Mukama Katonda wo gy’akuwa, y’ensi omukulukutira amata n’omubisi gw’enjuki, nga Mukama Katonda wa bajjajjaabo bwe yakusuubiza. 4 (C)Bw’otyo, bw’olimala okusomoka omugga Yoludaani, otegekanga amayinja ago ku Lusozi Ebali nga bwe mbalagira kaakano, era ogakubangako omuyiko ogw’ennoni ng’etabuddwamu omusenyu. 5 (D)Era Mukama Katonda wo olimuzimbira eyo ekyoto n’amayinja amalamba agatali matemeko na kyuma. 6 Olizimbira eyo Mukama Katonda wo ekyoto n’amayinja amalamba n’oweerako ebiweebwayo ebyokebwa eri Mukama Katonda wo. 7 Oliwaayo ebiweebwayo olw’emirembe, n’obiriira eyo ng’osanyukira mu maaso ga Mukama Katonda wo. 8 Era ku mayinja ago g’oliba otegese oliwandiikako n’obwegendereza ebigambo byonna eby’amateeka gano.”
9 (E)Awo Musa ng’ali n’Abaleevi, bakabona, n’agamba Abayisirayiri bonna nti, “Sirika owulire ggwe Isirayiri! Ku lunaku lwa leero lwennyini ofuuse eggwanga lya Mukama Katonda wo. 10 Noolwekyo ogonderanga Mukama Katonda wo n’okwatanga amateeka ge n’ebiragiro bye, bye nkulagira leero.”
Ebikolimo Ekkumi n’Ebibiri
11 Ku lunaku lwe lumu Musa yakuutira abantu bw’ati nti, 12 (F)Bwe mulimala okusomoka omugga Yoludaani, ab’omu bika bino baliyimirira ku Lusozi Gerizimu ne basabira abantu omukisa: Simyoni, ne Leevi, ne Yuda, ne Isakaali, ne Yusufu, ne Benyamini. 13 Ate ab’omu bika bino baliyimirira ku Lusozi Ebali ne balangirira ebikolimo: Lewubeeni, ne Gaadi, ne Aseri, ne Zebbulooni, ne Ddaani, ne Nafutaali. 14 Awo Abaleevi balirangirira n’eddoboozi ddene eri abantu bonna Abayisirayiri nti:
15 (G)“Akolimirwe omuntu yenna akola ekifaananyi ekitali Katonda oba abumba ekintu ng’ekyo kyonna Mukama ky’akyayira ddala nga kikolebwa omukozi nnakinku, omuntu oyo n’abaako ne wakiyimiriza mu kyama.”
Abantu bonna ne baddamu nti, “Amiina.”
16 (H)“Akolimirwe omuntu yenna atassaamu kitiibwa kitaawe oba nnyina.”
Abantu bonna ne baddamu nti, “Amiina.”
17 (I)“Akolimirwe omuntu yenna akyusa ekituuti ekiraga ensalo ya muliraanwa we.”
Abantu bonna ne baddamu nti, “Amiina.”
18 (J)“Akolimirwe omuntu yenna aggya omuzibe w’amaaso mu kkubo ettuufu n’amubuza.”

19 (K)“Akolimirwe omuntu yenna atalaga bwenkanya eri bannamawanga, oba bamulekwa oba bannamwandu.”
Abantu bonna ne baddamu nti, “Amiina.”
20 (L)“Akolimirwe omuntu yenna eyeebaka ne muka kitaawe, kubanga ekitanda kya kitaawe akimalamu ekitiibwa.”
Abantu bonna ne baddamu nti, “Amiina.”
21 (M)“Akolimirwe omuntu yenna akola ebyobukaba n’ensolo.”
Abantu bonna ne baddamu nti, “Amiina.”
22 (N)“Akolimirwe omuntu yenna eyeebaka ne mwannyina omuwala wa kitaawe, oba muwala wa nnyina.”
Abantu bonna ne baddamu nti, “Amiina.”
23 (O)“Akolimirwe omuntu yenna eyeebaka ne nnyina wa mukazi we.”
Abantu bonna ne baddamu nti, “Amiina.”
24 (P)“Akolimirwe omuntu yenna atemula munne.”
Abantu bonna ne baddamu nti, “Amiina.”
25 (Q)“Akolimirwe omuntu yenna akkiriza okugulirirwa atte munne ataliiko musango.”
Abantu bonna ne baddamu nti, “Amiina.”
26 (R)“Akolimirwe omuntu yenna atagondera bigambo ebiri mu mateeka gano.”

The Altar on Mount Ebal
27 Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people: “Keep all these commands(A) that I give you today. 2 When you have crossed the Jordan(B) into the land the Lord your God is giving you, set up some large stones(C) and coat them with plaster.(D) 3 Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey,(E) just as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, promised you. 4 And when you have crossed the Jordan, set up these stones on Mount Ebal,(F) as I command you today, and coat them with plaster. 5 Build there an altar(G) to the Lord your God, an altar of stones. Do not use any iron tool(H) on them. 6 Build the altar of the Lord your God with fieldstones and offer burnt offerings on it to the Lord your God. 7 Sacrifice fellowship offerings(I) there, eating them and rejoicing(J) in the presence of the Lord your God.(K) 8 And you shall write very clearly all the words of this law on these stones(L) you have set up.”(M)
Curses From Mount Ebal
9 Then Moses and the Levitical(N) priests said to all Israel, “Be silent, Israel, and listen! You have now become the people of the Lord your God.(O) 10 Obey the Lord your God and follow his commands and decrees that I give you today.”
11 On the same day Moses commanded the people:
12 When you have crossed the Jordan, these tribes shall stand on Mount Gerizim(P) to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar,(Q) Joseph and Benjamin.(R) 13 And these tribes shall stand on Mount Ebal(S) to pronounce curses: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan and Naphtali.
14 The Levites shall recite to all the people of Israel in a loud voice:
15 “Cursed is anyone who makes an idol(T)—a thing detestable(U) to the Lord, the work of skilled hands—and sets it up in secret.”
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”(V)
16 “Cursed is anyone who dishonors their father or mother.”(W)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
17 “Cursed is anyone who moves their neighbor’s boundary stone.”(X)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
18 “Cursed is anyone who leads the blind astray on the road.”(Y)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
19 “Cursed is anyone who withholds justice from the foreigner,(Z) the fatherless or the widow.”(AA)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
20 “Cursed is anyone who sleeps with his father’s wife, for he dishonors his father’s bed.”(AB)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
21 “Cursed is anyone who has sexual relations with any animal.”(AC)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
22 “Cursed is anyone who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother.”(AD)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
23 “Cursed is anyone who sleeps with his mother-in-law.”(AE)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
24 “Cursed is anyone who kills(AF) their neighbor secretly.”(AG)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
25 “Cursed is anyone who accepts a bribe to kill an innocent person.”(AH)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”
26 “Cursed is anyone who does not uphold the words of this law by carrying them out.”(AI)
Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”(AJ)
