¹⁴ who is a ^(A)first installment of ^(B)our inheritance, in regard to the ^(C)redemption of ^(D)God’s own possession, ^(E)to the praise of His glory.

^30 (A)Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, ^[a]by whom you were ^(B)sealed for the day of redemption.

^23 (A)And not only that, but also we ourselves, having ^(B)the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves ^(C)groan within ourselves, ^(D)waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons and daughters, ^(E)the redemption of our body.

¹³ looking for the blessed hope and the ^(A)appearing of the glory of ^[a](B)our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus, ¹⁴ who ^(C)gave Himself for us ^(D)to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to ^(E)purify for Himself a ^(F)people for His own possession, ^(G)eager for good deeds.

²⁶ people fainting from fear and the expectation of the things that are coming upon the ^[a]world; for the powers of ^[b]the heavens will be shaken. ²⁷ And ^(A)then they will see ^(B)the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. ²⁸ But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because ^(C)your redemption is drawing near.”
