28 The thief must no longer steal, but rather labor, doing honest work[a] with his [own] hands, so that he may have something to share with one in need.(A) 29 No foul language should come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for needed edification, that it may impart grace to those who hear.(B) 30 And do not grieve the holy Spirit of God, with which you were sealed for the day of redemption.[b]

New International Version
28 Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work,(A) doing something useful with their own hands,(B) that they may have something to share with those in need.(C)
29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths,(D) but only what is helpful for building others up(E) according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God,(F) with whom you were sealed(G) for the day of redemption.(H)
