3 But immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is fitting among saints. 4 Let there be no filthiness, nor silly talk, nor levity, which are not fitting; but instead let there be thanksgiving. 5 Be sure of this, that no immoral or impure man, or one who is covetous (that is, an idolater), has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality,(A) or of any kind of impurity, or of greed,(B) because these are improper for God’s holy people. 4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk(C) or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.(D) 5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater(E)—has any inheritance(F) in the kingdom of Christ and of God.[a](G)
