5 You can be sure of this: The Kingdom of Christ and of God will never belong to anyone who is impure or greedy, for a greedy person is really an idol worshiper—he loves and worships the good things of this life more than God. 6 Don’t be fooled by those who try to excuse these sins, for the terrible wrath of God is upon all those who do them. 7 Don’t even associate with such people.

5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater(A)—has any inheritance(B) in the kingdom of Christ and of God.[a](C) 6 Let no one deceive you(D) with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath(E) comes on those who are disobedient.(F) 7 Therefore do not be partners with them.
