¹² For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,^(A) but against the rulers, against the authorities,^(B) against the powers^(C) of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.^(D)

¹¹ They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss,^(A) whose name in Hebrew^(B) is Abaddon^(C) and in Greek is Apollyon (that is, Destroyer).

³¹ Now is the time for judgment on this world;^(A) now the prince of this world^(B) will be driven out.
