Ephesians 6:4-6

⁴Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, ^(A)but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Bondservants and Masters

⁵^(B)Bondservants,^[a] obey your earthly masters^[b] with fear and trembling, ^(C)with a sincere heart, ^(D)as you would Christ, ⁶not by the way of eye-service, as ^(E)people-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,

Ephesians 6:4-6

New International Version

⁴Fathers,^[a] do not exasperate your children;^(A) instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.^(B)

⁵Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect^(C) and fear, and with sincerity of heart,^(D) just as you would obey Christ.^(E) ⁶Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but as slaves of Christ,^(F) doing the will of God from your heart.
