4 And ye fathers, do not move your children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
5 Servants, be obedient to your carnal masters with fear and trembling, in singleness of heart, as to Christ – 6 not with eye-service, as men-pleasers, but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart with good will:

4 Fathers,[a] do not exasperate your children;(A) instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.(B)
5 Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect(C) and fear, and with sincerity of heart,(D) just as you would obey Christ.(E) 6 Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but as slaves of Christ,(F) doing the will of God from your heart.
