¹⁴ For He Himself is ^(A)our peace, ^(B)who made both groups into one and broke down the ^[a]barrier of the dividing wall, ^15 [b]by ^(C)abolishing ^[c]in His flesh the hostility, which is ^(D)the Law composed of commandments expressed in ordinances, so that in Himself He might ^[d](E)make the two ^(F)one new person, in this way establishing ^(G)peace; ¹⁶ and that He might ^(H)reconcile them both in ^(I)one body to God through the cross, ^[e]by it having ^(J)put to death the hostility.

²⁰ “I am not asking on behalf of these alone, but also for those who believe in Me through their word, ²¹ that they may all be one; ^(A)just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, ^(B)so that the world may ^[a]believe that ^(C)You sent Me.

Disciples’ Future Glory

²² The ^(D)glory which You have given Me I also have given to them, so that they may be one, just as We are one;

^8 (A)Again, the devil *took Him along to a very high mountain and *showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory; ⁹ and he said to Him, “^(B)All these things I will give You, if You fall down and ^[a]worship me.” ¹⁰ Then Jesus *said to him, “Go away, Satan! For it is written: ‘^(C)You shall worship the Lord your God, and ^[b]serve Him only.’”

⁴⁷ If anyone hears My ^[a]teachings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for ^(A)I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. ^48 (B)The one who rejects Me and does not ^[b]accept My ^[c]teachings has one who judges him: ^(C)the word which I spoke. That will judge him on ^(D)the last day. ^49 (E)For I did not speak ^[d]on My own, but the Father Himself who sent Me ^(F)has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak.

^51 (A)Do you think that I came to provide peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division; ⁵² for from now on five members in one household will be divided, three against two and two against three. ⁵³ They will be divided, ^(B)father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”
