8 and no restraint was placed on the drinking. The king had ordered every wine steward in his household to serve as much as each person wanted. 9 Queen Vashti also gave a feast for the women of King Ahasuerus’s palace.
10 On the seventh day, when the king was feeling good from the wine,(A) Ahasuerus commanded Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona,(B) Bigtha, Abagtha, Zethar, and Carkas, the seven eunuchs(C) who personally served him,

8 By the king’s command each guest was allowed to drink with no restrictions, for the king instructed all the wine stewards to serve each man what he wished.
9 Queen Vashti also gave a banquet(A) for the women in the royal palace of King Xerxes.
10 On the seventh day, when King Xerxes was in high spirits(B) from wine,(C) he commanded the seven eunuchs who served him—Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona,(D) Bigtha, Abagtha, Zethar and Karkas—
