Esther 5:12-14
International Standard Version
12 Then Haman said, “Even Queen Esther brought no one except me with the king to the banquet that she held. Furthermore, I (along with the king) have also been invited by her tomorrow. 13 But all this does not satisfy me every time I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king’s gate.”
14 Then Zeresh his wife and all his friends said, “Have a pole made 50 cubits[a] high, and then in the morning speak to the king and have Mordecai hanged[b] on it. Then go with the king to the banquet happy.” This advice pleased Haman, and he had the pole made.

Esther 5:12-14
New International Version
12 “And that’s not all,” Haman added. “I’m the only person(A) Queen Esther invited to accompany the king to the banquet she gave. And she has invited me along with the king tomorrow. 13 But all this gives me no satisfaction as long as I see that Jew Mordecai sitting at the king’s gate.(B)”
14 His wife Zeresh and all his friends said to him, “Have a pole set up, reaching to a height of fifty cubits,[a](C) and ask the king in the morning to have Mordecai impaled(D) on it. Then go with the king to the banquet and enjoy yourself.” This suggestion delighted Haman, and he had the pole set up.
