³² Moses said, “This is what the Lord has ordered: ‘Fill an omer and conserve it for your descendants so that they can see the bread that I gave you to eat in the desert, when I brought you out of the land of Egypt.’ ”

³³ Moses, therefore, said to Aaron, “Take a jar and put a full omer of manna in it. Place it before the Lord and preserve it for your descendants.” ³⁴ Aaron did what the Lord had commanded Moses to do, he placed it in front of the Testimony,^[a] to preserve it.
