20 So God was good to the midwives, and the people multiplied, growing very numerous. 21 Because the midwives feared God, He gave them families of their own.
22 But Pharaoh charged all his people saying, “You are to cast every son that is born into the river, but let every daughter live.”

22 Then Pharaoh gave this order to all his people: “Every Hebrew boy that is born you must throw into the Nile,(D) but let every girl live.”(E)
