²¹And so it was, because the midwives feared God, ^(A)that He ^[a]provided households for them.

²¹And because the midwives feared^(A) God, he gave them families^(B) of their own.

⁶^(A)In mercy and truth
Atonement is provided for iniquity;
And ^(B)by the fear of the Lord one departs from evil.

⁶Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for;
