The ministers of Pharaoh said to him, “How long will he be a snare to us? Let this people go to serve the Lord, their God. Otherwise Egypt may be ruined.”

Moses and Aaron were summoned to Pharaoh who said to them, “Go, serve the Lord, your God. But who will leave with you?” Moses said, “We will go with our young and our old, with our sons and our daughters, with our animals and our flocks, so that we can celebrate a feast of the Lord.”

Pharaoh’s officials said to him, “How long will this man be a snare(A) to us? Let the people go, so that they may worship the Lord their God. Do you not yet realize that Egypt is ruined?”(B)

Then Moses and Aaron were brought back to Pharaoh. “Go, worship(C) the Lord your God,” he said. “But tell me who will be going.”

Moses answered, “We will go with our young and our old, with our sons and our daughters, and with our flocks and herds, because we are to celebrate a festival(D) to the Lord.”
