3 (A)(And Yahweh gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. (B)Moreover, the man Moses himself was very great in the land of Egypt, both in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants and in the sight of the people.)
4 So Moses said, “Thus says Yahweh, ‘About (C)midnight I am going out into the midst of Egypt, 5 and (D)all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of the Pharaoh who sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the servant-girl who is behind the millstones; and all the firstborn of the cattle.

3 (The Lord made the Egyptians favorably disposed(A) toward the people, and Moses himself was highly regarded(B) in Egypt by Pharaoh’s officials and by the people.)
4 So Moses said, “This is what the Lord says: ‘About midnight(C) I will go throughout Egypt.(D) 5 Every firstborn(E) son in Egypt will die, from the firstborn son of Pharaoh, who sits on the throne, to the firstborn son of the female slave, who is at her hand mill,(F) and all the firstborn of the cattle as well.
