¹⁹ For seven days no yeast is to be found in your houses. And anyone, whether foreigner^(A) or native-born, who eats anything with yeast in it must be cut off^(B) from the community of Israel.

⁴⁹ The same law applies both to the native-born and to the foreigner^(A) residing among you.”

²⁹ “This is to be a lasting ordinance^(A) for you: On the tenth day of the seventh month^(B) you must deny yourselves^[a](C) and not do any work^(D)—whether native-born^(E) or a foreigner residing among you— ³⁰ because on this day atonement will be made^(F) for you, to cleanse you. Then, before the Lord, you will be clean from all your sins.^{(G) 31} It is a day of sabbath rest, and you must deny yourselves;^(H) it is a lasting ordinance.^(I)

⁸ “Say to them: ‘Any Israelite or any foreigner residing among them who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice ⁹ and does not bring it to the entrance to the tent^(A) of meeting^(B) to sacrifice it to the Lord^(C) must be cut off from the people of Israel.

¹⁰ “‘I will set my face against any Israelite or any foreigner residing among them who eats blood,^(D) and I will cut them off from the people. ¹¹ For the life of a creature is in the blood,^(E) and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life.^{[a](F) 12} Therefore I say to the Israelites, “None of you may eat blood, nor may any foreigner residing among you eat blood.”

¹³ “‘Any Israelite or any foreigner residing among you who hunts any animal or bird that may be eaten must drain out the blood and cover it with earth,^{(G) 14} because the life of every creature is its blood. That is why I have said to the Israelites, “You must not eat the blood of any creature, because the life of every creature is its blood; anyone who eats it must be cut off.”^(H)

¹⁵ “‘Anyone, whether native-born or foreigner, who eats anything^(I) found dead or torn by wild animals^(J) must wash their clothes and bathe with water,^(K) and they will be ceremonially unclean till evening;^(L) then they will be clean. ¹⁶ But if they do not wash their clothes and bathe themselves, they will be held responsible.^(M)’”
