Exodus 12:25-27

25 And when ye shall come into the [a]land, which the Lord will give you, as he hath promised, then ye shall keep this [b]service.
26 (A)And when your children ask you, What service is this ye keep?
27 Then ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the Lord’s Passover, which passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and preserved our houses. Then the people [c]bowed themselves and worshipped.

New International Version
25 When you enter the land(A) that the Lord will give you as he promised, observe this ceremony. 26 And when your children(B) ask you, ‘What does this ceremony mean to you?’ 27 then tell them, ‘It is the Passover(C) sacrifice to the Lord, who passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt and spared our homes when he struck down the Egyptians.’”(D) Then the people bowed down and worshiped.(E)
