Exodus 12:6-8
Contemporary English Version
6 Each family must take care of its animal until the evening of the fourteenth day of the month, when the animals are to be killed. 7 Some of the blood must be put on the two doorposts and above the door of each house where the animals are to be eaten. 8 That night the animals are to be roasted and eaten, together with bitter herbs and thin bread made without yeast.

New International Version
6 Take care of them until the fourteenth day of the month,(A) when all the members of the community of Israel must slaughter them at twilight.(B) 7 Then they are to take some of the blood(C) and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs. 8 That same night(D) they are to eat the meat roasted(E) over the fire, along with bitter herbs,(F) and bread made without yeast.(G)
