Exodus 13:11-13

¹¹And it shall be, when Jehovah shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanite, as he sware unto thee and to thy fathers, and shall give it thee, ¹²that thou shalt ^[a]set apart unto Jehovah all that openeth the womb, and every firstling which thou hast that cometh of a beast; the males shall be Jehovah’s. ¹³And every firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a ^[b]lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break its neck: and all the first-born of man among thy sons shalt thou redeem.

¹¹“After the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites^(A) and gives it to you, as he promised on oath^(B) to you and your ancestors,^(C) ¹²you are to give over to the Lord the first offspring of every womb. All the firstborn males of your livestock belong to the Lord.^(D) ¹³Redeem with a lamb every firstborn donkey,^(E) but if you do not redeem it, break its neck.^(F) Redeem^(G) every firstborn among your sons.^(H)
