²^(A)“Dedicate all the first-born males to me, for every first-born male Israelite and every first-born male animal belongs to me.”

Exodus 13:2

New International Version

²“Consecrate to me every firstborn male.^(A) The first offspring of every womb among the Israelites belongs to me, whether human or animal.”

¹²^(A)you must offer every first-born male to the Lord. Every first-born male of your animals belongs to the Lord,

¹²you are to give over to the Lord the first offspring of every womb. All the firstborn males of your livestock belong to the Lord.^(A)
