^17 (A)You will bring them and ^(B)plant them in ^(C)the mountain of Your inheritance,
^(D)The place, Lord, which You have made as Your dwelling,
^(E)The sanctuary, Lord, which Your hands have established.

² He dug it all around, cleared it of stones,
And planted it with ^[a]the ^(A)choicest vine.
And He built a tower in the middle of it,
And also carved out a ^[b]wine vat in it;
Then He ^(B)expected it to produce good grapes,
But it produced only ^[c]worthless ones.
