13 And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
14 ¶ And the Lord said to Moses, Write this for a remembrance [a]in the book, and [b]rehearse it to Joshua: for (A)I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.
15 (And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it [c]Jehovah Nissi.)

13 So Joshua overcame the Amalekite(A) army with the sword.
14 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write(B) this on a scroll as something to be remembered and make sure that Joshua hears it, because I will completely blot out(C) the name of Amalek(D) from under heaven.”
15 Moses built an altar(E) and called(F) it The Lord is my Banner.
