14 Then the Lord said to Moses: Write this down in a book as something to be remembered, and recite it to Joshua:(A) I will completely blot out the memory of Amalek from under the heavens. 15 Moses built an altar there, which he named Yahweh-nissi;[a]

New International Version
13 So Joshua overcame the Amalekite(A) army with the sword.
14 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write(B) this on a scroll as something to be remembered and make sure that Joshua hears it, because I will completely blot out(C) the name of Amalek(D) from under heaven.”
15 Moses built an altar(E) and called(F) it The Lord is my Banner.
