8 Then the Lord said to me, “Take for yourself a large tablet and ^(A)write on it ^[a]in ordinary letters: ^[b](B)Swift is the booty, speedy is the prey.

⁶ So you go and ^(A)read from the scroll which you have ^(B)written ^[a]at my dictation the words of the Lord ^[b]to the people in the Lord’s house on a ^(C)fast day. And also you shall read them ^[c]to all the people of Judah who come from their cities.

The Flying Scroll

5 Then I lifted up my eyes again and looked, and behold, there was a flying ^(A)scroll. ² And he said to me, “^(B)What do you see?” And I answered, “I see a flying scroll; its length is twenty ^[a]cubits and its width ten cubits.”
