⁴ And Moses cried unto the Lord, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.

¹⁶ And he that blasphemeth the name of the Lord, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the Lord, shall be put to death.

⁶ And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.

³¹ Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

⁸ His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?
