¹⁵ He said to the people, “Be ready for the third day. Do not approach a woman.”

^11 (A)If one of you becomes unclean because of a nocturnal emission, he shall go outside the camp; he shall not come back into the camp. ¹² Toward evening, he shall bathe in water; then, when the sun has set, he may come back into the camp.

⁶ David answered the priest: “We have indeed stayed away from women. In the past whenever I went out on a campaign, all the young men were consecrated—even for an ordinary campaign. All the more so are they consecrated with their weapons today!”
