16 seven girls who were daughters of the priest of Midian came to draw water and fill the water troughs for their father’s flocks. 17 But the shepherds chased the girls away. Moses then came to their aid and rescued them from the shepherds and watered their flocks.
18 When they returned to their father, Reuel, he asked, “How did you get the flocks watered so quickly today?”

16 Now a priest of Midian(A) had seven daughters, and they came to draw water(B) and fill the troughs(C) to water their father’s flock. 17 Some shepherds came along and drove them away, but Moses got up and came to their rescue(D) and watered their flock.(E)
18 When the girls returned to Reuel(F) their father, he asked them, “Why have you returned so early today?”
