Exodus 2:20-21

²⁰“And where is he?” Reuel asked his daughters. “Why did you leave him? Invite him to have something to eat.”^(A)

²¹Moses agreed to stay with the man, who gave his daughter Zipporah^(B) to Moses in marriage.

²⁰And he said unto his daughters, And where is he? why is it that ye have left the man? call him, that he may eat bread.

²¹And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter.

²⁰So he said to his daughters, “And where is he? Why is it that you have left the man? Call him, that he may ^(A)eat bread.”

²¹Then Moses was content to live with the man, and he gave ^(B)Zipporah his daughter to Moses.
