Exodus 2:20-22
Contemporary English Version
20 “Where is he?” Jethro asked. “Why did you leave him out there? Invite him to eat with us.”
21 Moses agreed to stay on with Jethro, who later let his daughter Zipporah marry Moses. 22 And when she had a son, Moses said, “I will name him Gershom,[a] since I am a foreigner in this country.”

20 “And where is he?” Reuel asked his daughters. “Why did you leave him? Invite him to have something to eat.”(A)
21 Moses agreed to stay with the man, who gave his daughter Zipporah(B) to Moses in marriage. 22 Zipporah gave birth to a son, and Moses named him Gershom,[a](C) saying, “I have become a foreigner(D) in a foreign land.”
