Exodus 2:21-23

21 Moses agreed to stay with the man, and he gave his daughter Zipporah(A) to Moses in marriage. 22 She gave birth to a son whom he named Gershom, for he said, “I have been a foreigner(B) in a foreign land.”[a]
23 After a long time, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned because of their difficult labor, and they cried out;(C) and their cry for help ascended to God because of the difficult labor.

21 Moses agreed to stay with the man, who gave his daughter Zipporah(A) to Moses in marriage. 22 Zipporah gave birth to a son, and Moses named him Gershom,[a](B) saying, “I have become a foreigner(C) in a foreign land.”
23 During that long period,(D) the king of Egypt died.(E) The Israelites groaned in their slavery(F) and cried out, and their cry(G) for help because of their slavery went up to God.
