And when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of [a]bulrushes, and daubed it with [b]slime and with pitch; and she put the child therein, and laid it in the flags by the river’s brink. Then Pharaoh’s daughter went down to the Nile to bathe, and her attendants were walking along the riverbank.(E) She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her female slave to get it.
