Exodus 22:27-29
International Standard Version
27 for it’s his only covering; it’s his outer garment,[a] for what else can he sleep in? And when he cries out to me, I’ll hear him, for I am gracious.
28 “You are not to blaspheme God or curse a ruler of your people.
29 “You are not to hold back the fullness of your harvest[b] and the outflow of your wine presses.[c] You are to give to me the firstborn of your sons.

New International Version
27 because that cloak is the only covering your neighbor has. What else can they sleep in?(A) When they cry out to me, I will hear, for I am compassionate.(B)
