Exodus 23:17-19

The Message

¹⁷“Three times a year all your males are to appear before the Master, God.

¹⁸“Don’t offer the blood of a sacrifice to me with anything that has yeast in it.

“Don’t leave the fat from my festival offering out overnight.

¹⁹“Bring the choice first produce of the year to the house of your God.

“Don’t boil a kid in its mother’s milk.

¹⁷“Three times^(A) a year all the men are to appear before the Sovereign Lord.

¹⁸“Do not offer the blood of a sacrifice to me along with anything containing yeast.^(B)

“The fat of my festival offerings must not be kept until morning.^(C)

¹⁹“Bring the best of the firstfruits^(D) of your soil to the house of the Lord your God.

“Do not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.^(E)
