²⁷ I will ^(A)send My terror ahead of you, and ^(B)throw into confusion all the people among whom you come, and I will ^(C)make all your enemies turn their backs to you.

²⁵ This day I will begin to put ^(A)the dread and fear of you ^[a]upon the peoples ^[b]everywhere under the heavens, who, when they hear the report of you, ^(B)will tremble and be in anguish because of you.’

⁹ and said to the men, “^(A)I know that the Lord has given you the land, and that the ^(B)terror of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land have ^[a]melted away before you.
