10 and they saw [a manifestation of] the God of Israel; and under His feet there appeared to be a pavement of sapphire, just as clear as the sky itself.(A) 11 Yet He did not stretch out His hand against the nobles of the Israelites; and they saw [the manifestation of the presence of] God, and ate and drank.(B)
12 Now the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and stay there, and I will give you the stone tablets with the law and the commandments which I have written for their instruction.”(C)

10 and saw(A) the God of Israel. Under his feet was something like a pavement made of lapis lazuli,(B) as bright blue as the sky.(C) 11 But God did not raise his hand against these leaders of the Israelites; they saw(D) God, and they ate and drank.(E)
12 The Lord said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and stay here, and I will give you the tablets of stone(F) with the law and commandments I have written for their instruction.”
