15 When Moses went up the mountain, the cloud(A) covered it. 16 The glory of the Lord settled on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days. On the seventh day He called to Moses from the cloud.(B) 17 The appearance of the Lord’s glory to the Israelites was like a consuming fire(C) on the mountaintop. 18 Moses entered the cloud as he went up the mountain, and he remained on the mountain 40 days and 40 nights.(D)

15 When Moses went up on the mountain, the cloud(A) covered it, 16 and the glory(B) of the Lord settled on Mount Sinai.(C) For six days the cloud covered the mountain, and on the seventh day the Lord called to Moses from within the cloud.(D) 17 To the Israelites the glory of the Lord looked like a consuming fire(E) on top of the mountain. 18 Then Moses entered the cloud as he went on up the mountain. 16 And the glory of the Lord abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.
17 And the sight of the glory of the Lord was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.
18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.
