³³ You shall ^[a]hang up the veil under the clasps, and you shall bring in ^(A)the ark of the testimony there within the veil; and the veil shall separate for you ^(B)the holy place and the Holy of Holies. ^34 (C)You shall put the mercy seat on the ark of the testimony in the Holy of Holies.

² And Yahweh said to Moses:

“Tell your brother Aaron that he shall not enter ^(A)at any time into the holy place inside the veil, before the ^[a]mercy seat which is on the ark, so that he will not die; for ^(B)I will appear in the cloud over the mercy seat.

⁶ Then ^(A)the priests brought the ark of the covenant of Yahweh ^(B)to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the house, to the Holy of Holies, ^(C)under the wings of the cherubim.

³ And behind ^(A)the second veil there was a tabernacle which is called the ^(B)Holy of Holies,
