⁴³ They shall be on Aaron and on his sons when they enter the tent of meeting, or ^(A)when they approach the altar to minister in the holy place, so that they do not incur ^[a]guilt and die. ^(B)It shall be a statute forever to him and to his ^[b]descendants after him.

¹⁶ and so cause them ^(A)to bear ^[a]punishment for guilt by eating their holy gifts; for I am the Lord who sanctifies them.’”

^22 (A)The sons of Israel shall not come near the tent of meeting again, or they will bear sin and die.
