⁴³ And they shall be on Aaron and on his sons when they enter the tent of meeting, or ^(A)when they approach the altar to minister in the Holy Place, so that they do not incur ^[a]guilt and die. ^(B)It shall be a statute forever to him and to his ^[b]descendants after him.

⁹ They shall therefore perform their ^(A)duty to Me, so that ^(B)they do not bear sin because of it and die by it because they profane it; I am the Lord who sanctifies them.

¹⁵ When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the holy objects and all the furnishings of the sanctuary, when the camp is to set out, after that the sons of Kohath shall come to carry them by the poles, so that they will not touch the holy objects ^(A)and die. These are the ^[a]things in the tent of meeting that the sons of Kohath are to carry.

²⁰ but ^(A)they shall not come in to see the holy objects even for a moment, or they will die.”
