³⁷ For seven days you shall make atonement ^[a]for the altar and consecrate it; then ^(A)the altar shall be most holy, and whatever touches the altar shall be holy.

^27 (A)Anyone who touches its flesh will become consecrated; and when any of its blood ^[a]splashes on a garment, in a holy place you shall wash what was splashed on.

^29 (A)Every male among the priests may eat of it; ^(B)it is most holy.

^6 (A)Every male among the priests may eat of it. It shall be eaten in a holy place; it is most holy.

¹⁹ When they go out into the outer court, into the outer court to the people, they shall ^(A)put off their garments in which they have been ministering and lay them in the holy chambers; then they shall put on other garments so that they will ^(B)not transmit holiness to the people with their garments.
