18 “The leaders of Israel will listen to you. Then you and the leaders must go to the king of Egypt and say to him, ‘The Lord God of the Hebrews has met with us. Please let us travel three days into the desert to offer sacrifices to the Lord our God.’ 19 I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go, even if he is forced to. 20 So I will use my power to strike Egypt. After all the miracles that I will do there, he will let you go.

18 “The elders of Israel will listen(A) to you. Then you and the elders are to go to the king of Egypt and say to him, ‘The Lord, the God of the Hebrews,(B) has met(C) with us. Let us take a three-day journey(D) into the wilderness to offer sacrifices(E) to the Lord our God.’ 19 But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go unless a mighty hand(F) compels him. 20 So I will stretch out my hand(G) and strike the Egyptians with all the wonders(H) that I will perform among them. After that, he will let you go.(I)
