3 And Moses said, I will turn aside now, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. 4 And when Jehovah saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. 5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

3 So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.”
4 When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called(A) to him from within the bush,(B) “Moses! Moses!”
And Moses said, “Here I am.”(C)
5 “Do not come any closer,”(D) God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”(E)
