⁶ Then He continued, “I am the God of your father,^[a] the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.”^(A) Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look at God.

¹⁵ God also said to Moses, “Say this to the Israelites: Yahweh, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever;^(A) this is how I am to be remembered in every generation.

³⁸ For whoever is ashamed^(A) of Me and of My words^(B) in this adulterous and sinful^(C) generation,^(D) the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory^(E) of His Father^(F) with the holy^(G) angels.”^(H)

¹⁸ The Lord will rescue me from every evil work and will bring me safely into His heavenly kingdom.^(A) To Him be the glory forever and ever! Amen.

¹⁴ For we do not have an enduring city here; instead, we seek the one to come.^(A)
