¹⁴Then the Lord relented^(A) and did not bring on his people the disaster he had threatened.

Exodus 32:14

King James Version

¹⁴And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.

¹⁴So the Lord ^(A)relented from the harm which He said He would do to His people.

⁸and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent^(A) and not inflict on it the disaster^(B) I had planned.

⁸If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.

⁸^(A)if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, ^(B)I will relent of the disaster that I thought to bring upon it.
