Moses’ Anger

¹⁹ It came about, as soon as ^[a]Moses came near the camp, that ^(A)he saw the calf and the dancing; and Moses’ anger burned, and ^(B)he threw the tablets from his hands and shattered them ^[b]at the foot of the mountain.

³ When I heard about this matter, I ^(A)tore my garment and my robe, and pulled some of the hair from my head and my beard, and ^(B)sat down appalled.

²⁵ So ^(A)I contended with them and cursed them and ^(B)struck some of them and pulled out their hair, and ^(C)made them swear by God, “You shall not give your daughters to their sons, nor take of their daughters for your sons or for yourselves.
